Today in school during BOA,

i tried to piggy-back Minhui,

then super funny cos she was the one who came up with the idea.

I agreeed and am already on the verge of piggy-backing her,

So i did piggy-back her for, lets say, a few seconds?

Most of 1A06 climbed all the way to the 6th floor just to submit 5 groups' work.

In some ways, they really do resemble one another.

I can't help but grin to myself whenever i think of the scene when i was persuading Michelle so hard to eat the bun, telling her it was chocolate.

it was in fact Red Bean ...

Haha i think it's not bad.

so i went Mac's after BOA lab session.

which landed me in a dilemma on which one to choose!

In the end, i asked the person whether the Pink one was available,

which turned out that it wasnt.

Minhui is like super "qiang",

she just asked the person for the one on display!

Then discovered that Allen was getting Happy Meal as well,

and he did not want the toy.(!)

So i got the White one from him.

Oh well, another week in school ended. and im now at my cousin, Grace's house!

Went for TP Band's tune in on Monday after much persuasion from Jiamin and especially, Luck Koon. Haha. Can see that Luck Koon is like super pro in his tuba-playing.

Honestly, i feel that the trumpet seniors are a little too quiet. They ought to express themselves more. I understand that everyone is not that proactive when they meet new people. But at least as seniors themselves they should take the initiative?

I kind of admire the passion that Jonathan, the trumpet section's SL, has for his trumpet playing. Can see that he really loves his trumpet. Haha.

So i went for combined, partly due to the fact that they were going to play Ross Roy (!!!).

Sadly, i could not stay for long due to time constraints.
I went off first.
The senior who brought me to collect my belongings was really nice and i had the dilemma of whether to tell him i was waiting for Jiamin.
At that point in time, it seems weird to tell him that i was waiting for another friend as it seems as though we had the idea to leave early in mind.
But guess i thought too much about it. Later on, i felt that i really should have just said the truth. What's wrong with waiting for a friend?

On Wednesday, i decided to go for Modern Dance audi. They specified, "NO jeans, NO skinnies, NO fbts, NO shorts etc etc" So i went in track pants and to realise most people were wearing leggings. But i dont have any of those! D: But planning to get some these days. The audi was alright. My no. tag was 15. Luckily we did not have to do it one by one. We did it in a group. They taught us this choreography, and then Ryan, the instructor, was to pick ppl while watching us doing it. We had to free style at the end! I did it anyhow.

There was this guy at the auditions, who was kind of gay, but cute in a way. haha. he was like,

"I don't know how to dance ley. How???",

with a really anxious face.

I just told him, "Just dance. Dont think too much."

He even had really long fingernails.

To be exact, longer than mine...

WARNING: This is going to be a lengthy post resulting from the lack of updating.

After the audi, i went to the badminton trial with Jessica.

I suddenly felt that my books were much cheaper as compared to hers.

She was carrying a book that cost $60++?

And it is kind of heavy too.

Badminton is a cca that does not really require advertising

with people coming out of their own wills to join..

Serious!

There were so many girls in national team who went for the trial.

And the senior who played with me was like treating the whole thing as a friendly match.

Could see that he was not displaying his true abilities.

Did BOA project on Thursday with Michelle and Allen.

Looking at Allen's laptop really developed an urge in me to get one.

I mean, it's like so much convenient when it comes to doing projects.

However, the cost of one dismisses the thought of having one immediately.

Sigh.

And why cant i view the final thing???

Nevermind.

Yesterday, went for the class dinner at Bugis.

I should have checked the prices with them and gone for the KBox session!

Only 5 bucks laa.

I met up with Michelle first at 630.

We went to the new shopping mall situated near Bugis Street called Illuma or something like that.

The place was huge. But seemed kind of empty.

We went all the way down just to take the Longgggg escalator that connects the first floor and the fourth floor.

Haha.

And that's why i had to present during Management tutorial on Thursday.

But i did not rly present cos Thar Hwe did most of the talking.

Was almost late for it.

This time i got no. 29 as my number tag.

The chances of me getting in is comparable to the chances of the entire High School Musical Cast coming to my house and visit me.

It's not that im being pessimistic,

it's just that

so many ppl knew how to break dance etc etc.

I believe most ppl wont even think of joining it.

But i feel that it would be kind of nice to be teaching kids and stuff

so thought of trying it out

IF i really cannot get into TPDE.

Oh ya!

We have this Communication, in short Comm skills lesson,

which i kind of like.

It's something like English lesson.

Though i dont deny the fact that it is rather stressful to be in it.

But it really motivates me to improve my English standards,

and builds up my confidence of answering questions.

When u are attending the tutorial,

you will really have the urge to raise ur hand that kind.

haha.

And my favourite part is to guess the word

our teacher wants us to come up with.

So funny to see her 'pek chek' face when we cannot get the word.

Oh i found out today that "i.e" means Id Est in Latin which means "that is"

Wow. Im finally coming to the end to this post.

On saturday, went over to East Coast for ChoonHua jiejie's bday celebration.

While walking there, i glanced round and saw the playground that was situated in parkway.

The times when Clarissa was trying her Anthropologist hypothesis that,

most humans laugh when you stare closely at them.

Childish yes,

but yet,

It's been a long time since i laughed that hard..

Yesterday,

we had our first BOA lab session.

Stunned when we were told to complete page 4 to 69?!?

But actually it was pretty alright.

haha.

Funny thing is,

how the book tells us to bold the words,

and then un-bold them again.

Just to show us how it works!

I did it with michelle and laughed quite a bit.

There was this part where it told us to enter our names on the spreadsheet.

All we saw and read were the instructions in green.

So it was something like,

"Click cell A17, enter your name, and press enter."

All we did was to click the cell and then enter.

lol!

We were still complaining what crap that was.

Until Mr sim came around to tell us we forgot to put in our names.

There was also this part whereby we had to try out the [Ctrl][Home] function.

Then we thought have to click "Home" as shown on the screen.

So we were like, "Got diff meh?!"

Comical sia!

haha.

Weird thing is,

I could log into my tp login and student email in school,

but not at home!

First day of school

BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND

My class, A106, met up at Mushroom first before going for our very first lecture.
(It's at 9! :X)
Haha omg. Audrey was just right in front of me and i called to ask her where she was.

I saw Ah heng kor kor and Roslyn at the overhead bridge while walking back to the bus stop to meet Michelle haha.

When it was about time, we left for lecture.

Spent quite some time on introduction.

Was a little confused during lecture due to the sudden information all pouring onto me.
But it was alright when i read it up just now.
Not as difficult as i thought.
Thinking of finding Ms Koh to ask her some qns haha.

Oh. And we have a new classmate!
Her name's Bridget. Nice name, isn't it?

We walked out with her, did some introduction.
Along the way, we met some of our class guys.
Omg. The way they introduced themselves was kind of funny.
Haha.

Went home to have lunch cooked for me by Mum!
Yum.

End of TP Orientation.

We were supposed to meet our Care Person today, Miss(Mrs?) Alice Lew.
But she was attending some seminar somewhere else.
So came along Mr Michael.
Handed us our timetables and matric card.
Finally!


After that we headed to the gallery(?) at the Sports Complex.
Did cheers all that.
It was real crammed with more than 1700 students in just Business School.


Headed to Bedok Reservoir for Regetta.
IT WAS EXTREMELY WARM.
To think it was 3.30pm at that time.
Sweltering heat yea.
Many weird bugs around too.

Most importantly, Business School won for the fifth time!

We sang TP School Song and the HandSign song.
A pity that they have not taught the freshies yet.
Had some idea abt it only bcos i went for the camp, that's why.


TPSU did cheers too!
Haha it feels really great to be doing all those empire cheers with them again.
You can almost see who were the ones that went for the camp or workshop.

I met people from my class for the very first time!
There was this guy, Sheng Long who was also from Chung Cheng i did not even know haha.
Then the SL was like, "Why you two so cute ah, you're schoolmates yet u guys dont know one another.."
However, i think i saw him in school before.

Had Western food for lunch.
And i ate the slowest because i was busy cutting the oily skin out of the chicken chop.
I did not even realise i was the slowest...

Haha.

Kind of inconvenient to stand up and sit etc etc.


I miss talking to many people suddenly on my way home...


And i've come to a decision that i shall go for the dance audi!
Shan't worry so much and just go for it.

back from camp!

Getting a lil lazy to update the blog cos there's like too many things going on recently. And this makes me a little unwilling to update! :/



Anyway, i'm back from camp! :D It was fun alright.



I got to know this girl named Shermine.

I can tell you the way she laughs is exactly like how Grace laughs!



Like got asthma that kind u know! haha. But she's really sweet. Not only her face's sweet, her voice's super sweet as well. :)



Saw some Chung Cheng people who went for the camp as well. Err. like Huijun, Charmaine, Theron.. Oh yea and SiewKiong's in my empire. (we call "group" as empire, like so cool right!)


But i did not really talk to him. Like so many people in one empire la.




I AM IN DUA DUA LOVE❤ ZETTEN!



The GLs (Group Leaders) were really nice too. They were like the extremely high and crazy bunch of people. And they will keep asking u whether you're alright all those. Makes me feel like joining Student Union. But i scared i have mood swings and cannot be always so high that kind. Haha so i'd better not.



First day not so high cos i did not know Anyone. When i reached the Sports Complex, the GLs there were already like cheering,



"WELCOME TO TP, WELCOME TO FO!"


really very high.

played icebreaking games, learnt cheers etc etc.


no pictures because i did not even get the chance to be with my phone for those three days.!

it's like every day we get to play games so not very convenient to bring our phones along..



I LOVE TP!



At the end of the first day, ZETTEN got First among all the other empires!
But on the third day, when the scores were revealed for the Second day, we got the same score as Holqa.
It did not get our spirits down, instead, we put in more effort and enthusiasm in all the activities organised for us..

WE GOT FIRST!!!






omg super happy. like elated. ecstatic, everything! Everyone in the empire was like jumping, giving high-fives, hugging one another when we knew we were first. Some of the GLs even cried... Moved that we got first.



TP's school song is like really cool.

Oh and i got a little sunburn after everything. I only realised it when my mum told me.

It's because there's this part where everyone's supposed to run to the back then to the front.

Then my partner and I fell when we were running back to the front.

I did not even feel the pain when i fell.

Only when i got back home, then i feel that it really hurts when i rub on it.

Now i am like in a dilemma whether to join dance or not.

I want to join HipHop.

But then it's like they have practices on Saturdays which makes it a little inconvenient for me.

I am willing to learn, but i have no past experiences.

And it's like it's kinda easy to get bruises also la.

Not very nice to get bruises all over also right.

And mum also not very supportive of me joining dance..

Guess nothing's perfect huh?

Think i shall look at other CCAs first, see whether there's something else i like...

ARGH BUT I REALLY WANT TO JOIN DANCE.

You know that kind of feeling that u really want to do something but you just cannot cos something's just stopping you?

YES I AM GETTING THE FEELING RIGHT NOW.

Furthermore, there's audition for dance if u want to get in..

I dont even know whether i can pass the audition or not la.

So it's like .. hai..

Thus, i am first going to look at other CCAs, and then if i still really want to join dance, i'll go for audition. If i pass, then good for me. If i fail, then no choice lor. Guess it's really fated by then?

when insecurity steps in

Yesterday was our First 0404!

Went to Dhoby Ghaut's Minds Cafe.
We first played Taboo. Now that i think of it, I still prefer Taboo 2. But Taboo was fun all the same. Jacie was paired up with Gina, while i was paired up with Michelle.

The thing is, when it came to Gina's turn to let Jacie guess the word, she seemed really calm. Then she kept asking Jacie, "You know, ..." and without saying anything else. Then we started imitating her. There were a few times when we laughed real loudly and noticed people past a few tables were staring at us. But then they were not that quiet either. -.-

We also played this "Say what" game, in which we could not say the word or do the action indicated on the card. And everyone will not know your own card. Omg then i was real stupid by asking Gina, "What's the opposite of Light?" to trick Jacie cos her word was Dark. BUT MY OWN WORD WAS LIGHT! zzz.

So while playing "Say what", we played this game, (i dno what's the name of the game) that requires every player to choose an animal. So every player has to make the sound of the animal he or she picked. After that, you have to hide away your own animal.

Jacie: Cow "MOO"
Gina: Sheep "MAAA..."
Michelle: Snake "SSSSS..."
Hq: Cat "MIAO"

Then every player is given a deck of cards. At the count of 3, each player has to flip over the first card. If any two players show the same animal card, they have to see who produces the sound of the other player first. For example, Jacie and I show the same card, she has to "MIAO" first before i say "MOO". So the aim of the game is to clear your own deck of cards to win. Haha then because Jacie and I kept showing the same card, and she kept forgetting my animal's sound. When she finally remembered, she said "MIAO" when Gina and her showed the same card. (so in this case, she's supposed to say "MAAA.." instead of "MIAO") It's rather confusing but you get what i mean...

AND I CLEARED MY DECK OF CARDS FIRST! :D

We also played Ticket to Ride or something like that. It was getting a little boring so we ended the game before even finishing it. Played "Truth or Dare" stacko as well. Haha. Michelle made the thing fall, Jacie even video-ed it. So funny, cos she actually screamed.


Sorry that it is a little boring due to the lack of pictures..


After that, we went to Long John for dinner. Gina had to go first cos she had tuition..
Discussed about some stuff and i asked my Mum abt it alr! ;D

Today, we're going to celebrate Mum's bday. Woohoo!

Dad super funny la, cos i kept "forcing" him to write some bday wishes in the card i made for Mum. And i kept covering my side in order to prevent him from copying..

Jared &Jasmine bday celebration 01042009

FIRSTLY,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASMINE!!! :DD

Yesterday, went with psch friends to celebrate jas and jt's bdays. Kaiyin and i went to tpy to get the cake first. We were supposed to meet at 7.15pm at blk 105 before heading to jt's house.

Then in the midst of waiting, i looked out from where we were sitting and asked wky,

"That person over there looks really like Prida.."

He looked back and said,

"And the other person talking to her looks really like Xinying too.."


HAHA.


They did not even see us even though we're just a few metres away from one another. So i called Xinying and he called Prida. But Prida's phone "hang" while wky was calling her.. DANG! And finally, they saw where we were..

So we sat there waiting for Derek, jt (to come home) and jas (back from syf).

Jas did not know we were going to celebrate for her as well. But i think she should have guessed it more or less.

Shall make the long story short!

Jas came at like 8 plus? By then Jared had alr reached home. He thought Kaiyin was the only one going to his house to celebrate his bday. I SWEAR THAT THEIR PHONE CONVERSATION WAS REAL FUNNYY.


Derek could not come cos his younger sis was at home and his dad was not back yet..
After knowing that Derek's sis is in Sec2, Prida was like, "AH? 这么老了，不可以照顾自己啊？！？"

lol!

As in the way she said it was hilarious.


In the end, we could not go to Jt's house cos his dad was at home. Think his dad does not like crowds or some crazy bunch of people creating a din at his house.. (&Prida's prediction abt this was accurate! )

So we began our plan, lighted the candles at blk 105 and kaiyin brought it over to jt's block.

The four of us, including Jas, Prida, Xinying and me, was following him like some crazy stalkers.

Like pink panther you know!

Except that we were very noisy, VERY.

Once i thought i saw jt, at the next instance, everyone was hiding like some donno what behind the wall. In the end it turned out to be some other guy.. -.-

When we crossed the road at the carpark, Jas really thought she saw Jt.

like as if nobody would see us just bcos we did that..

it's one of the most stupid things i ever did. we kept laughing like some crazy bunch of people.

My tears were almost coming out..

FINALLY, we saw the REAL jt wearing blue (his Cj shirt) sitting down with wky, who had alr reached there.

right. our ORIGINAL plan, was to come out from where we were hiding when wky began to sing "Happy Birthday"

In the end, IT FAILED LA!

All he said was, "Aiyah, 出来啦" -.-

So we just sang. And whee, 2 times for both of them! :)

"为什么我每年都要跟他share cake.."

Wky kept "suaning" Jt in Cantonese. They look really like a couple if they were to be one girl and one boy, bickering and gay-ing absolutely about everything. And i mean, everything.

Jt also very funny la!

He wanted to eat another piece of cake cos everyone had their first serving alr and he wanted for the second.

So, he was like, "Do yall want to eat?"

The immediate reactions of Wky and I were like, " YOU WANT TO EAT RIGHT..!"

Anyway, he finished the rest of the cake because all he was having for dinner was...

AN APPLE. yes, an apple.

So we decided to take some group photos after everything was cleared up.

And i must say, the group photos are really screwed.

The worst thing is, it was taken with my phone! The Nokia one!

SEE! Everyone's hair were super messy due to the STRONG wind that kept blowing towards us.

wky la, everyone was like busy posing so that everyone's face could be seen.

Then he was like, "Cannot see ah, like that can see alr."

So he went up to the camera when the timer shown, "3, 2, 1.."

And out came this.

He still said, "EH?!? i thought it's 20 seconds.."

When in actual fact, it was Ten.

Prida and I were supposed to jump so that we could be seen.

But obviously, we failed.

Then i was like, "Okay, everyone pose with your mouths open okkk!"

The thing that really made me burst into giggles even up to now is,

when wky said,

"Prida 还去那么近，认真地把嘴巴开得那么大。。"

How can you not laugh?

After taking the photos, everyone wanted Jas to show her Syf dance steps, again. Again because wky and i had alr seen it earlier. Wapiang. Their dance got Gold with Honours laa..

It's Indian Dance.. Cool right.

Wky was like a lil insulting cum racist la. But i must say, while trying to imitate Jas, (again) he did it quite well.

Jas even said, “他跳得很卖力。”

I joined in the fun. Jas still say, "Turn!" "跟我一起转！" etc.

The real embarrassing moment was when Jt's mum came cos Jt said, "叫Aunty!"

It felt like some interrogation when she asked each and every one of us which school we're being enrolled in.

Some thing that i felt really glad about was when Jt said we were his Primary school friends when his Mum asked if we were his JC friends..

Must see the gap you know.! From Primary to Secondary and then to JC..

When it was time to leave, i felt really sticky and sweaty. EWW!

And i really must say, i myself enjoyed it very much...

-sigh.

Do you realise how time flies?

In another three years' time, we'll all be in our twenties..

wow.

But i do hope we'll still be celebrating each other's birthdays then!
