Seems like a lot of ppl came to MOS burger today.
Actually not a lot as it seems...

Both Grace and Michelle went MOS ytd!
But i wasnt working ><

Allen and Minhui came today! They two good lor, come alr nvr buy anything... >:(
haha no la, at least they did come and say HI!

Grace came again! yipee.
It was only then that i realised we were gng da jiu's house to bai bai.

Shall first blog about my first mentoring session last sat!

Clin and I had Beeting and Nikhila as mentees.
They are p6 students and having their PSLE on 7th oct i think.

Somehow i think i shdnt have joined mentors cos i cant even help them!
uh oh...
Took me quite some time to solve the qns they asked us.
The worst thing was, i cant even solve some of them!
See how bad the situation was?
Clin was good. A plus point for her: she teaches psch kids tuition too!
so pro! haha.

On a happier note, at least i did entertain them okie! hhaa.

Badminton session today!
it was fun alright haha.

Jerald zhen de shi qiang de.
At least he did make an effort not to smack ppl.
haha.

After that we played Ice and Water.
Are we cute or what!

Howcher super funny cos he ran up to the stage and went behind the wall...
I kept screaming and asked Wenbin to come over so that we can catch him.
I dno how to say but it is very funny.
He was being trapped in the centre of the corridor,
so we were like,
okay later u stand behind there and wait for either andrew or audrey to save u.
ha ha!

But we are very kind de okay!
at least let him sat outside...

oh ya ya!
there was this part where Mabel and i were like zi high-ing here and there.
kept running and moving arnd while playing.
can lose more fats like that right ah bel!

hey but it is tiring to do that!

Audrey and i kept showing wenbin our Bu shuang faces hehe.

I trained for my scooping thing also.
just cannot get it. i must get it!

The session kind of reminds me of the times when papa and i went playin badminton near the playground under our block.
We always had to bring along a bamboo pole (the one used for hanging clothes),
just in case the shuttlecock gets stuck in the ceiling which ALWAYS happens!

my papa also pro de okay, he can do the scooping thing!

today mabel made me feel like playing viwawa again!

The sky was very dark in the morning.. Did you notice?

Mentor workshop ytd.
Clin's laughter was extremely contagious...
We went Mensa during the break and I had Spaghetti Carbonara!
It's nice, but kind of "腻"
Think the one that Derrick cooked at clar's house is nicer haha.

After that went to 06's chalet!

At first i was a little worried that it'll be kind of weird.
But it turned out fine, absolutely fine.. and fun!

Audrey and eldred went to fetch me at the bus stop and i saw minhui and allen at the previous stop haha.

played a little bit of shooting...

was VERY VERY VERY full and bloated!

First it was pizza,
then bbtea,
satay meat,
finally kuai shou mian!

played mahjong too :D

cooking of the noodles was great.
audrey, jer, howcher, andrew and i were like all in the kitchen, trying to figure out how to cook the noodles with the limited resources we had..
then SOME ppl cut the hotdog really nice lor hor...
haha and each and every one of it looks "unique" and different in its own way.

finally settled with the five bowls with ice in them.

satisfied with our final product!

we ate at the second floor as i was waiting for a call from either my mum or michelle haha.
initially we were like standing in a circle while eating then it felt really weird haha!
so we turned around and felt even weirder...
in the end we just sat down and ate our noodles!
haha like some campfire thing..

cooked another pot of noodles and got the ppl in to eat it.
i think in the end everyone was kind of full ald so there were leftovers.

started mahjong again and minhui&allen like du hou and du shen like that sia!

凭着我自己的本事，I WON MAHJONG FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.
wahaha. the feeling is indescribable. ;D

had to go after that and michelle was reaching!
audrey and jerald went to the bus stop to wait for her.
walked out with howcher and eldred.
got to pass mich her present,
and we all waited for my dad to come.

after that the legendary blue taxi came! haha

sent eldred & howcher to pasir ris int :/

tired and piak! on the bed haha. :))

Today was a bit quiet?
The crowd did not come at 12nn.
So in the end she asked me to make it 60 instead.

I din hit it again.
Managed to promote 41...

Fourth day of work:

Today my manager, Shirlyn very funny.
She knew i wanted to try the MOS Milkshake so she said she'll treat me to it,
BUT ON ONE CONDITION:

To sell 60 hot Teriyaki Chicken burgers.

I was like, HAR bu ke neng de... and alr planning to pay her the $2.15.
and it's 60 all by myself.
So if we sell around 200 hot terichi a day...
60 is like 30%?!?
Besides it was alr 3pm...

But i still tried to promote it to every customer that came to my counter la haha..

So i think i only sold 25?
If only i could include those i sold in the morning...
Sure have more than that!
There was this person who bought 4 hot terichi!

I found another Plus-point of MOF today.

Even though it's stated in the menu, "Pictures are for references only." or smth like that,

the food they serve do not differ much like some other places,

whereby the pictures are made very tantalizing,

but in the end the actual food served is like UGH.

For MOF, it's like,

they dont disappoint the customers?

Not only food in the menu looks nice,

the actual one does too!

The serving is just right and and and...

it makes u satisfied!

Mentoring at EVPS today:

The teacher did not inform the students (aka Mentees),

hence they did not come.

Thus, we looked through some of their exam papers,

and tried a set of paper.

It was Mathematics.

Frankly speaking,

I was pretty weak in Math in Psch.

It only got better when i got to sec sch cos the syllabus is a bit different.

The bad thing is,

you cant use calculator for Paper 1.

Manual calculating!

That is a complete torture for someone like me who relies on the calculator too much;

especially for simple sums like 18+9 that sort of thing u know!

In the end, all my worries were too much thinking on my part.

Paper 1 was okay.

But the teacher said the paper we did was considered only AVERAGE.

Some qns were like Trial&Error.

So no inkling on how we are supposed to explain and show the workings if we were going to teach them...

I made this new friend named Bilal(?)

Very funny cos we were like checking answers

and

"Har?!? Like that only?!?"

Probably another 2 more mentoring sessions for the next 2 Saturdays!

After Mentoring,

walked back to sch with Jen and Clin.

We went to sch library to indicate our preferences for the Certificate Program thingy..

AND OH YES.

Jen and Clin are like VERY x1000000000000...... SMART!

Both their GPA are like 3.95?

I was in a serious dilemma whether to take psychology or language.

Jenn was like mumbling to herself, "Am i really going to take this? omg. this is a life decision. think properly jen!" hahah..

This is my First time being to MOF for my entire life.

I always used to think MOF outlets are located far far far away from my house.

I really used to think that MOF is really ex and it's only for some high class ppl..

But the food is really worth the money...

And with the lunch set and student meals during weekdays,

it's much much cheaper and u get to enjoy nice food as well!

The menu is really nice,

no service charge,

i like their system whereby u must go order ur food urself w/o having to trouble the person and make he or she wait and all those nitty-gritty stuff...

SO MUST TRY if u haven!

Even if u have, must go again!
